as a designer they would have to research different ideas for there designs for thier product. you would research on the internet, magazines, books ect.. they would have to check the cost and how the product would be made.

• they would find different patterns to put as one and make it look presentable.
• also cut out bits of magazines and design it on a top to see what they could use.
• research  on the internet to look at design ideas.
• to see how effective it is.
• research would help to pick up ideas and add more to their products.
• research the cost of the material or the cost of how much its going to be.
• machinery checks.
• about the process.
• to make sure the process is safe for the risk assessment.
