What is the marxist theory?

The mass over powering the elite.

Try to create and equal society

To some extent our piece conforms to this, however our Mass J uses his power to try and make a society that isn't equal or benefical. He uses his power to try and victimise the female into being weak.

However the elite, therapist tries to control his power, but fails to do so, therefore he over throws her

how does my film opening conform to the power imba

- the masked male kills the victimised female.

this represents how society in society males hold privaleges over females

however it is anti marxist due to suggesting there to be no change, the female will always be over powered and end up dad because of the action of a male.

What is the male gaze theory?

-MULVEY

-feminist theory to present power imbalance

- point of view from a hetrosexual male

- forced to look at female body parts

-freduian psychoanalysis of cinema

- female is steortypical victim, she is not just an object of sexual desire but she also showing the power imbalance between both males and females. Midshot of female shows her body, close up of her applying lipstick on, which sexualises her features. FRaming allows her eyes and mouth to be the main focus of the audiences gaze.

- the male is obscured from fullvew so he exerts power, she is blissfully unaware that she is behind him. This suggests a power imbalance.
