Sanctity - Ultimate Importance 

Sacred - Regarded with a great respect, connected to God

Abortion - The deliberate termination of a human pregnancy

Pro-Life - Opposing abortion & Euthanasia 

Pro-Choice - Advocating legalized abortion

Ensoulment - Creation of a soul, within a human being. In Christianity,          ensoulment occurs at the point of conception. 

Fertilisation - Creation by the physical union of male and female gametes

Embyro - Unborn offspring in the process of development

Fertility Treatment - Methods used to achieve an artificial pregnancy

Euthanasia - The painless killing of a patient suffering from an incurable disease

Assisted Suicide - Suicide of a patient suffering from an incurable disease effected by the taking of lethal drugs provided by a doctor for this purpose

Double-Effect - Doing something morally good, with known morally bad side effects, may be seen as good. E.g, a doctor giving his patient high doses of painkillers, knowing they may shorten his patients life.
