Some Christians, eg, Quakers, are totally opposed to fighting and during warfare they are conscientious objectors (taking a public stance against conflict). ----> They are prepared to go into battle driving ambulances or doing other duties BUT they will not fight.
Other Christians are prepared to fight in the armed services and there are always chaplains attached to military units.
Most Christians today would probably not condone any war that was not fought according to the ‘Just War’ theory

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS
"thou shall not murder" (however there are occasions when Jews were told by God to attack people who oppose them) ----> "but if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life"
Jesus is descibed as a pacifist
When Jesus was arrested, his deciples wanted to defend him, he told them not to.
HOWEVER, there are two occasions in the bible that show Jesus' anger. 1. when people are using the temple as a place to buy and sell. 2. he was hungry, went up to a fig tree and there was nothing on it, so he said, may you never bear fruit again!
