Terminology

Integration: different communities starting to live and work together and see each other as equals.

Asylum seeker: A person who is seeking to be recognised as a refugee and request permission to live in safety in another country.

Political correctness (PC): describes language, ideas, policies or behaviour seen as trying to minimise offence to racial, cultural or other identity groups.

Christianity's teachings

"love your neighbour as yourself" - show kindness patience and understanding towards the people around you, as you would like others to show to you.

"Do unto others as you would have them do to you" - Treat others as you would like to be treated.

"The parable of the Good Samaritan" - Regardless of their skin colour, religion or race, you should help any fellow human being who is in desperate need.

Islam's teachings

1) "And whoso does good works, whether male or female and they are a believer, such will enter paradise" - If you are a believer and you do good deeds, you will enter paradise when you die.
