Men go out to work but also help with the house and look after children. The women look after the children as go out to work and earn money.

Cival Partnership - The legalunion of 2 people who are the same sex

Religious parenting is when they also want their children to follow their own faith, so they teach then belief and teachings and some even under commitment ceremonies.

Religious attitudes to sexual matters: Christianit

  • Most christians believe that only married couples should have sex and only with each other, chastity is a virtue.
  • Attitudes to the uses of contraception vary.
  • The Roman Catholic Church say that the use of contraception  is against natural law.
  • It's natual that conception may happen with intercourse and therefore this should not be prevented.
  • The most important reason is to have children.
  • Sex before marriage is called fornication and is a sin.
  • Homosexual sex is thought to be unnatural and cannot lead to pregnancy.
  • In the bible it says: "No man is to have sex with another man, God hates that".
  • Some christians tolerate sex before marriage in a relationship that is leading towards marriage, seeing it as an expression of love.
  • Some are for contraception if you have had enough children that you can handle.
  • The bible said: " Don't commit adultery".
  • Jesus said even if you look at someone lustfully it is wrong.

Religious attitudes to sexual matters: Sikhism:

  • Sexualuty is seen as a girft from god, because all beings have sexual urges.
  • Sikhs warn about against being controlled by your sex drive but by marriage.
  • Sex before marriage is wrong.
  • Celibacy asa a life choice isn't encouraged 
  • Homosexuality is wrong but we are gifted from god, when it comes to deciding on which contraception to use, Sikhs can chose for themselves.
  • They are encouraged to follow responsible parenthood.
  • Only to have as many children that can be handled.
  • Sikhs wouldn't permit permanent methods of contraception unless it is a medical reason.

Christian Wedding and divorce :

  • Marriage is the legal union of 2 people.
  • The couple will come to be united in marriage by the priest. He greets them before the whole congregation.
  • The priest asks 3 sets of questions to the bride and groom to make sure they understand the responsabilities of marriage.
  • The couple then take their vows to each other "for richer for poorer" "love and cherish" the priest declares that they have agreed to marry before God and accepts their decisions, it is at this point he says "what god has joined together,let no man put asunder".
  • The rings are blesses and exchanged the priest blesses the marriage.
  • The couple could sign the register.
  • Divorce is always wrong. 
  • Marriage is sacred and cannot be brocken. 
  • Promises are made to God and each other to stay together "until death do us part" and these are promises that are binding, divorce is discouraged but accepted as a last resort it is sometimes the lesser of 2 evils

  • God hates divorce.
  • Whoever divorces then marries another it is as he has commit adultery.
  • Forgive and Love.
