AS examples

1. Foley Sound.

Audio recorder for texting. Picked up small sounds to enhance. Clearer, realistic. Obvious for audience to hear. Adds effect, sinister and unsettling.

2. Filters.

Distorted filter on clips. 'Retro 3D' (closing curtains). Off-putting, blurred, sinister. Different/unexpected/unusual.

3. Split Screen.

Getting ready clips. Contrast in characters/interpritation of them, what the audience think. Unique/interesting. Shows more on screen, but doesn't explain.

A2 examples

1. Editing.

Short/quick shots for montage. Dramatic, matches tempo of music with genre and its conventions. Effective, more eye gaging.

2. Sight and Sound.

Chosen magazine. Fits with film idea. Looks professional and conventional. Different to other magazines (shows actor instead of just character).

3. Poster.

Double reflection on himself back to back. More interesting. Metaphorical. Better than solid background. Fits genre/character.
