Random Sampling - Every person in a given target population has an equal chance of being selected.
Oppurtunity sampling - The selection of anyone who is available
Advantages - It is easy
Disadvantages - Biased because unlikely to represent the target population
Volunteer sampling - Participants volunteer to take part in a study
Advantages - Gives access to a variety of participants
Disadvantages - People who volunteer may be more highly motivated than others
