Probability of Chance Not Happening

A little formula to remember to calculate chances of an event NOT happening.

?

Probability of Chance Not Happening

  P (A’) = 1 – P (A)

Note than there is an apostrophe next to the first A. This indicates the chance of an event NOT happening. Once you have the chance of an event that WILL happen, you can subtract that answer from 1.
