Definition of balanced diet:

> A balanced diet means to have a suitable proportion of all the food groups in your diet.

Food groups:

- Carbohydrates

- Proteins

- Water

- Fats

- Vitamins

- Minerals

- Need water to keep hydrates

- 70% of our body is water

Macronutrients: Food groups we need in large amounts

Micronutrients: Food groups we need in small amounts
