Pre-conceptual care means the care of the mother_to_bes health before conception which must be considered.

The main factors to consider are:

a good healthy diet

not to be over weight

to be as healthy as possible

to give up smoking and drinking alcohol

to avoid taking drugs and medicines which may be harmful

to check with GP to see if immune to rubella
