Poverty

Absolute Poverty = Where you are absolutely poor. You dont have any food, clothes, shelter, etc (all the basic needs).

Relative Poverty = Where you are poor compared to other people. You are not able to do social activites that evetyone else is able to do eg. go to the cinema.

Poverty Trap = The poverty trap is where you are stuck in poverty and unable to get out due to certain circumstances such as not being able to get to cheaper supermarkets to buy cheaper food so have to keep buying more expensive foods etc.

Cycle of Poverty = The cycle of poverty is where you are born into poverty then are unable to get a good education and good qualifications so cant get a good job, you then have a family of your own and they are born into poverty too.

Culture of Poverty = The culture of poverty is where people are keeping themselves in poverty by spending their money as soon as they get it and not planning for the future.
