Work Done

When a force moves an object, energy is transferred and work is done.

When you put effort into moving something, you are putting energy into it. Therefore, the energy is being transferred

Even though energy will be wasted (e.g friction), you can still say that work is done.

To work out how much work has been done, use this:

Remember: Work done is a form of energy (transferred), therefore, it is in J.

Kinetic Energy

Anything that is moving has kinetic energy.

To work out the kinetic energy of something, use this:

'M' stands for mass.

'V' stands for speed.

Remember: The kinetic energy of something depends on mass and speed
