Physics additional : Forces and acceleration

1) If the resultant force on a stationary object is zero, the object will remain stationary.

1) if there's no resultant force on a moving object it will just carry on moving at the same velocity.

1) If the resultant force is not zero then the object will accelerate in the direction of the force.

F = ma

A = F/M
acceleration is measured in m/s squared

1) When two objects interact the forces they exert on each other are equal and opposite.
