-Forces arise from an interaction between two objects
-The forces in an interaction pair are always : Equal in size & Opposite in direction
-Where the interacting objects touch eachother the forces are known as contact forces.
EXAMPLE An apple falls from the tree due to the force of gravity pulling it down, gravity is the attraction between two objects therefore the apple exerts an equal and opposite force on the earth.
