Community Ethic- Encourages the Galatians to live in harmony and Paul highlights freedom and moral responsabilities.

Teaching on love-McCay- 'love your neighbour' and we also have a fundamental obligation to love.

Freedom fro the law- 'A man is justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesuc Christ'. Also teaching on sexual ethics.

Teaching on marriage- Celibacy and to serve God and remain faithful to partners and the permanence of marriage.

Paul and Women- Paul- basic for the suppression of women in the bible genesis.

The Chrurch and State and Eschatological Character-'Give to Caesar what is Caesars and to God what is God's'. Pope Benedict XVI- clear dimensions throughout pauls letters.

Conclusion- McCay- Pauls ethical theory teachings suggest that christians must imitate Christ.
