The big bang theory 

 one day there was a big explosion

the dust paricles and the gases wourled around

a star (the sun) was created

planets formed out of the remaining particles

and the rest turned into our atmosphere

our galaxy is called the milky way

this theory is that when two tectonci plates meet it pushed hot molten rock up through the sea floor creating more land and for the sea floor to expand

alfred wegener devised this theory. he thought that once upon a time all of the continents were joined together called pangaea. they moved apart becuase of....... continental drift!
