  • Proteins
  • Fats 
  • Carbohydrates

Micronutrients 

- Needed by the body in much smaller amounts and include,

  • Vitimins and the mineral elements,
  • Calcium, potassium, phosphorus, essential fatty acids, trace elements-  iron, zinc, iodine.
