Protocols

HTTP-  Hypertext transfer protocol - for accessing and recieving web pages in the form of HTML files on the internet.

HTTPS- Secure Protocol - encrypts the information so that it cannot be hacked.

FTP- File Transfer Protocol - for sending or retrieving to or from a remote server or computer.

POP- Post Office Protocol - downloads emails from the email server onto your device and deletes them from the server.

IMAP - Internet Message Access Protocol - downloads the email header until the email is openend - saves the message on the servers. This needs more disk on the server.
