The Spartacist League

The Spartacist League were a Communist group that sought a revolution.

It had no trust for the government, and thought that it wouldn't help workers to improve their lives.

The Spartacist Revolt - January 1919

The people of the Spartacist League tried to turn the protests of workers into a revolution, but there wasn't enough support for it to work.

The German army and the Freikorps (ex-soldiers) put an end to the uprising.

100 workers were killed.
