Strenuous Exercise

The effects of Strenuous Exercise are:

7 of 20

Strenuous Exercise

Temperature increases - When you exercise you generate heat, so your temperature increases.

Water content - During exercise more water is lost in sweat through the skin as you get hotter and more water vapour is lost from your lungs as your breathing rate increases.

Salt levels - sweat contains salt, so if you sweat a lot the level in your body will decrease.

Line Spectrums

When heated, what colour flames are produced for Lithium, Sodium and Potassium?

9 of 20

Line Spectrums

Lithium - produces a red flame

Sodium - produces a yellow/orange flame

Potassium -  produces a lilac flame

Diffusion

Define Diffusion

13 of 20

Diffusion

Diffusion is the passive overall movement of particles from a region of their higher concentration to a region of their lower concentration.
