MODULATION

Modulation is the prossesc of changing from one key to another (normaly tonic or tonal center)

PITCH BEND

Bends the pitch of a note

VELOCITY

A messurement of how hard a key is pressed and released to produce a sound

MAIN VOLUME

The level of the overall sound

PAN

The movment of diffrent instruments/ sounds from one speaker to another ( left and rigt) pann across

POLYPHONY

texture consisting of two or more simultaneous lines of independent melody

LEGATO OR STACCATO

LEGATO= mooth flowing manner, without breaks between notes.

STACCATO= with each sound or note sharply detached or separated from the others.

QUANTISE

The slight movements of notes to make a digitaly recorded pice sound like a studio session recording. Just to give the recording more feel to it and to make it sound less maufactured

AUTOMATION

The technique, method, or system of operating or controlling a processby highly automatic means, as by electronic devices, reducing humanintervention to a minimum.

STEP TIME RECORDING

Recording the music into the computer one note at a time. ( Like what did for LALALA)

SAMPLER

A synthesizer which records sounds from actual external sounds such as instruments or non-musical sounds. The recorded sounds may be edited and used as sounds effects.
