Modulation is the prossesc of changing from one key to another (normaly tonic or tonal center)

Bends the pitch of a note 

A messurement of how hard a key is pressed and released to produce a sound

A texture consisting of two or more simultaneous lines of independent melody

LEGATO= mooth flowing manner, without breaks between notes.

STACCATO= with each sound or note sharply detached or separated from the others.

The slight movements of notes to make a digitaly recorded pice sound like a studio session recording. Just to give the recording more feel to it and to make it sound less maufactured

A synthesizer which records sounds from actual external sounds such as instruments or non-musical sounds. The recorded sounds may be edited and used as sounds effects.
