properties - malleable, ductile and tough. good conductor of heat and electricity . easily joined . a green PATINA forms when exposed to air or water for long periods of time

uses- plumbing fittings, electrical equiptment, roofing

notes-can be quite expensive but polishes well used as a decrative roof finish due to green .

properties - strong for its weight. light, soft and ductile. good conductor of heat and electricity. difficult to join

notes- a non toxic meterial that polishes well

properties -very weak and heavy. resists corrosion but very difficult to work. often used to electro plate and hot dip ferrous products

uses- jewellery, fold leaf , ornaments, bullion, electrical contacts

notes- highest rating ( 24 carat) means the purrest metal
