The Robin Hood Earthquake

It is nicknamed the Robin Hood earthquake because the rich people in the stone houses died, whereas the poor people in the straw huts survived when they collapsed.

The buildings have been rebuilt with triangular structures because that is the strongest shape.

The roofs are domes because it is thought to be an earthquake proof shape.
