Magnification and calibration calculations

Conversions:

• millimetre to micrometre = X1000
• micrometre to nanometre = X1000
• nanometre to micrometre = /1000
• micrometre to millimetre = /1000

If you need to measure a structure as it would appear under a light microscope with an eyepiece graticule, you will be told the value of each of the divisions on the graticule.
