Light comes from a source eg. natural light:then sun or artifical light;light bulbs.
We see light because our eyes detect light.
Light bends because light travels at deifferent speeds throguh different materials.
Light can't always pass through materials eg. it can pass throguh glass&water but not through opaque objects.
Light can be reflected from shiny surfaces and mirrors
Light is refraceted when it goes through a transparent material and bends towards the normal. eg. from air to glass and water to air.
Filters only transmit their own colour of light. eg. red filters transmit red light and the other clolours are absorbed.
Light bounces off of surfaces.
