NOMINAL DATA

Links with mode 

nominal data is in categories , can be tailed , data is discrete , a weak form of data.

e.g. counting the number of people who obeyed or disobeyed.

ORDINAL DATA

links with median

data is ordered in some way , data does not have equal intervals between each unit , the data is in rank order and or the data involves subjective human judgement.

e.g. participants were asked to rate on a scale.

INTERVAL DATA

links in with mean

data is based on numerical scales that includes units of equal , precisely defined size . the most precise and sophisticated form of data.

e.g. measuring the height
