What is Klinefelter's?

Sometimes reffered to as XXY
Estimated that 1 in 600 boys will be born with this condition.
The extra chromosome is acquired after the baby is conceived (not inherited)

Symptoms

Slow in reaching milestones e.g. Walking, sitting and crawling
Born with nudes ended testicles
Poor muscle power
Delayed communication
Passive personality
Difficulty socialising
Difficulty expressing their emotions
Mild learning difficulty - low attention span
High rates of dyslexia and dyspraxia
Growth spurts
Widening of the hips
Lack of testosterone can lead to a flabby body, low muscle tone, reduction in calcium in bones, small firm testicles, a small penis and a lack of body and facial hair.
May be difficulties with sex drive and fertility
