Kinetic Theory

Related to the arrangment of movement of particles in solids, liquids and gases.

Solid- Arranged in a neat coloum are very close, vibrate gently around fixed positions, has a fixed shap, fixed volume, low in energy levels, when heated up the expand

Liquid- Not arraned neatly, close together, move around but not fixed, doesn't vibrate like solids, fixed volume, liquid can take a shape of its container, medium in energy levels, when heated up they expand

Gases- Very far apart, move in random directions ver quickly, fills the space available, doesn't have afixed volune, spread out, high in energy leves, when heated up the expand
