Keyword: Irrational

Refer to a number that is a decimal and goes on forever, you could never write it down to the correct accuracy.

For example:-    < = Square root of...

<2 is equals to a decimal number that goes on forever. You'd never be able to right it as a decimal correctly, you'll eventually have to round it off

Rules when using Surds

For example:-    < = Square root of...

Multiplying surds

<a x <b = <a x b = <ab

Dividing surds

<a/<b = <a/b

Squaring and rooting

(<a)2 = a
