Good Samaritan

Luke 10:25-37

Man got injured by robbers, the 'good' people (eg priest) that should have stopped walked by. His 'enemy' acted like a neighbour towards him and helped him.

Jesus used this to demonstrate to a man who his neighbour is: everyone. So you should treat everyone with kindness and how you would like to be treated.

The Rich fool

Luke 12:16-21

A man piles up all his riches and stores them away. He then dies and is unable to take his material possesions with him.

More important things to life than money and riches. Materialistic things aren't as important as being a good people. To make yourself rich in God's eyes isn't to accumulate wealth  but to be a good person.

Rich man and Lazarus

Luke 16:19-31

There was a rich man and a poor man, the poor man would go to the rich mans house to beg from him but the rich man would ignore him. When they both died the poor man went to heavemn and the richman went to hell. The rich man wanted to warn his brothers to be good people but it was too late.

Be a good person and help others that are less fortunate than yourself. A good person what you are inside not the materialistic objects that you have in your life in God's eyes.

Sheep and Goats

Matthew 25:31-46

On judgement day, God divides people up into two groups, like a shepherd divides his heep and goats. Into those who were charitable and helped others who went to heaven and those that weren't who went to hell.

Although everyone looks the same, what you do to help others defines you. Help the vunerable because that is the same as helping God.

Unmercival Servant

Matthew 18:21-35

A servant owes the king millions of pounds, the king forgives his debts/allows him time to pay them back. The servant is owed a few pounds by another servant, he can't pay it and when the other servant asks for time/forgiveness he refuses him and throws him in jail. When the king hears of this he throws the first servant in jail for not extending the forgiveness.

Forgive others and God will forgive you. You should treat others how you would like to be treated and forgive them.
