jekyll n hyde plot

(utterson and enfield are walking when they see the door and enfield tells his story of hyde) 

(utterson has jekyll's will and reads it finding that all his stuff is left to hyde. Disturbed, he goes to lanyon who says he has fallen out with jekyll and doesn’t know a hyde. Utterson waits by the door till he finds hyde. He doesn’t like him) 

(utterson asks jekyll abou thyde and the will. Jekyll wont talk about it and says he has an interest in hyde he doesn’t want to discuss) 

(hyde murders a man on the street and when utterson is called he knows its sir danvers carew. When they go to hyde's house they find he is not home. They talk to the landlady who lets them in and when they look around they find signs of a hurried departure and the other half of the walking stick used to kill carew) 

(when utterson sees jekyll he is sick and distraut. He promises he will never see hyde again. He gives utterson a letter apparently from hyde that says he can escape. When utterson shows the letter to mr guest he says that the handwriting is very similar.) 

(utterson goes for dinner with jekyll and lanyon. A few days later jekyll will not see utterson and then lanyon becomes very sick but blames it on a shock he has had. After that lanyon dies and he leaves a letter to utterson that he can only open if jekyll dies or dissapears) 

(utterson anf enfield go for a walk and see jekyll at his window. Jekyll agrees to talk through the window but a look of horror goes across his face as he slams the window shut) 

(poole(jekyll's butler)asks utterson to go down with him to jekylls laboratory but when they break in they find hyde's body on the floor as he has comitted suicide by drinking poison. Utterson finds a letter in uttersons favour telling him what happened) 

(the chapter is told in lanyon's letter. Lanyon received a weird letter from jekyll asking him to bring a drawer of chemicals to a man that would visit him at midnight. The man was hyde who mixed the chemicals together and drank the potion to tranform into jekyll. Its more than lanyon could stand) 

(chapter told in jekylls letter. Jektyll had always explored duality and his work led him to a way of separating the two. He could become hyde and do things without it refectling on jekyll. But hyde became more powerful. Until he murdered carew jekyll was still switching between the two using the potion. He stopped using the potion but hyde became able to take over spontaniously. Jekyll had to use the potion to change back but in the end he ran out of one of the ingredients used to make his potion. He took the potion for the last time before writing the letter)
