'Belief in the oneness of Allah'
(everlasting, eternal, absolute, and their is none like him)
-helps muslims avoid the worship of an idol (SHIRK)
-oneness of God should be the first thing that a baby hears, the father whispers the (ADHAN) into the ears of the baby and this is to ensure that the child grows to become an obedient and good Muslim
-the (SHAHADAH) should be the last thing heard in a person's life - the statement of faith and belief in Allah and his greatness whilst also recognising the prophet Muhammad as his messenger
