Key Points

Authority- having control over something

Discrimination- treatment or consideration of, or making a distinction in favour of or against, a person or thing based on the group, class, or category to which that person or thing belongs

Equality- when all types of people are treated with the same standard

Identity- different characteristics that define somebody, height weight looks

Injustice- violation or the right of other people

Prejudice – a preconceived idea about a group of people

What is fair?

A  fair world would be when there is equality , and wouldnt be any prejudice, dishonesty or bias

Why are people prejudiced?

People might be prejudiced for many reasons; skin colour, belief, background, peers etc...

Why do they treat people differently; pride/selfishness, experiences, peers, fear, anger.

What do we need and want?

We need food, shelter, healthcare

We want anything that isn’t a necessity to keep our bodies in good condition.
