huntington and cyistic fibroses

cystic fibrosis is a genetic illness which is passed on through you family. unlike huntington's you can be a carrier of the desese  you could have have the genotype Ccfor cystic fibrosis which means your safe but you will be a carrier of the diseases or you have the genotype cc which means you will have the disease or you could have CC which means your 100% safe from having or carrying cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis  is  a recessive  allele which means unless you and your partner has to be a carrier to have have a 50% chance of one of your children to have the diseases you are then at risk and would need to see a genetic tester from the hospital to test your baby while you are pregnant
