June 1941 – Invasion of USSR – Bogged down

Propaganda stepped up – Everyone to support

Total War – Everyone involved

  • March 1943 – Sport banned, non important magazines, non- essential business were closed
  • August 1939 – No normal clothes made – Trade only
  • The Minister of Armaments Albert Speer
  • Severe labour shortages = women sent back
  • Air raids – Berlin, Dresden and Colgne – Really heavy
  • Thousands homeless and killed
  • 1845 – Dresden Bombings
  • July 1944 – Being pushed back
  • Goebbels Reich Trustee – Total War
  • All apart from cinemas were closed
