Paper One: 4 Mark Questions

4 Mark Questions:

  • Explain it using spesific + general facts and infomation
  • E.g. 'Describe the reasons why the Tripple Entente Developed Between 1898-1907'

Paper One: 6 Mark Questions

6 Mark Questions:

  • I - interperation of the source
  • P - purpose of the source
  • A - agree with the source using your own knowledge
  • D -  disagree with the source using your own knowledge

You need 2 pieces of spesific evidence to test the sources with

  • D - Date 
  • A - Author
  • M - Material
  • M - Motive
  • I - Intended Audience
  • T - Types of source or tone

Paper One: 10 Mark Questions

10 Mark Questions:

  • Introduction - Overline your overall answer (1-2 sentances) & which do you think it most important?
  • Paragraph One - Explain what happened in the important crisis & give reasons why you think its more important/did that thing better
  • Paragraph Two - Explain what happened in the important crisis & give reasons why you think its less important/did that thing worse
  • Conclusion - Compare both crises and identify which one is more important (e.g. which one caused war)
