  • Health and well being- negative attitudes can make you not care, your health suffers as attitudes could be negative towards services that are provided. Positive attitudes can help you keep healthy and keep you balanced. 
  • Self esteem and sense of empowerment- negative attitudes can leave you feeling low and decreased self esteem and can feel like you dont have a say taking away your empowerment. Positive attitudes can boost your self esteem and allow you to make your own decisions. 
  • unfair treatment- direct and indirect discrimination
