• Controls LEVEL OF GLUCOSE IN BLOOD

• Found in the ABDOMEN
• Produces ADRENALINE
• Prepares body for RAPID ACTIVITY by:

     - Increasing HEART RATE

     - Increasing BLOOD GLUCOSE

     -Diverts BLOOD to MUSCLES and BRAIN

• FIGHT OR FLIGHT RESPONSE

• FEMALE sexual organs
• Produces OESTROGEN
• This causes CHANGE at puberty
• It controls MENSTRUAL CYCLE

• MALE sexual organs
• Produces TESTOSTERONE
• Causes CHANGE at puberty
• Stimulates SPERM PRODUCTION
