  • Produces ADRENALINE
  • Prepares body for RAPID ACTIVITY by:

     - Increasing HEART RATE

     - Increasing BLOOD GLUCOSE

     -Diverts BLOOD to MUSCLES and BRAIN

  • FIGHT OR FLIGHT RESPONSE

  • Produces OESTROGEN
  • This causes CHANGE at puberty
  • It controls MENSTRUAL CYCLE
