Urbanisation

A peak land value intersection is the region within a settlement with the greatest land value

Bid rent curve

As distance from the CBD increases there is less competition for low so land value decreases.

Shops and offices are in the CBD as they can afford it, industry is close to the CBD but cannot afford highest land prices and housing can only afford low value land so is furthest from the CBD.
