musicals

musicals are meant to be entertaining and easy to listen too.

-the tunes are easy to sing- as the audience finds this more entertaining to sing along to.

- the harmonys are diatonic- it will be either major or minoe

- the stucture will be simple often with alternating verses and chorus and maybe a middle 8 ( has new chords and new lyrics and a change of mood to keep it interesting)

- the chorus will have a hook- a catchy bit of lyric for the audience to hold onto.
