Forgiveness and Reconciliation

"Forgive us our debts as we also forgive our debtors"
Forgiveness is a two way thing.

"When Jesus was on the cross he showed forgiveness, one of the criminals turned to Jesus for forgiveness and Jesus forgave him"
If you are truly sorry for your sins and ready to repent, people will forgive you.

"For if you forgave men when they sin against you, your heavenly father will also forgive you"
If you forgive people who sin against you, God will also forgive you for the mistakes you have made.  

"Then peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forigve my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times"
