Buffet Products.

A buffet is a meal system, where the customers help themselves to food, normally set out already.

It is a popular way of serving a group of people.

Buffet food is generally produced on a large scale, and is often cost and time prohibitive.

Most buffet products contain eggs, whether this is a pastry, or filling, e,g = cheese straws, or cheesecake.

Some examples of buffet products sold today:

  • Sandwitches, with a classic filling
  • Sausage rolls
  • Spring rolls & Oriental starters EG: Prawns & Dip
  • Cakes
  • Quiche
  • Scotch eggs
  • Mini pizzas'
  • Chicken drumsticks (served hot / cold)
  • Canapes
  • Seasonal fruit platters
  • Fresh fruit tartlets
