Firstly remember to revise and look over all of the short stories and poems that are in your antholagy.

There will always be a question about the langauge, so look out for things like; similes, puntuality, images, how it is written.

Read an extract from a magazine or newspaper and anitate it ( put one key work by the side of each paraghaph) and time yourself - should aim for about 5mins.

Always make a plan for what you are going to write, this way it will help when it comes to writing your topic sentances.

Never try to put apsolutly everything into the essay or you will run out of time and not finish.

Lastly, dont forget put in atleast one QUATATION for each point you make.
