When a system changes energy is transfered or transfered between objects and different energy stores

In all energy change it is dissapted so that it can be stored in less useful ways which can also be called wasted energy

In a closed system the net chance is always zero

The higher the thermal conductivity of a material the higher the rate of thermal conductivity by conduction across the material

It reduces frictional force whcih causes energy to be dissapted. Lubricants are usally liquids to flow easier
