Structure

Very organised until the end each stanza wrote in quatrains most lines contain 10 syllables 

-A tight and controlled structure = peaceful tone which reflects his good relationship with his parents 

-Structure of the Quatrain broken =gap between speaker and parents symbolizes by the gap between the 3rd and 4 th line in stanza 15 which represents howhis relationship isnt quite perfect as final line symbolizes the poets iscolation and reflects how they were once stable together but there no longer with him

-poets deliberate use of child language reflects his desire to be close to his parents as it reflects the way he wants to go back to a child like state as his parents whilst he was born didnt spend long together as a family until he was 7
