Duty of Care

- Case established 'neighbour principle' : you must take reasonable care to aviod acts or omissions that you can resonably foresee would be likely to injure your neighbour.

Your neighbour: persons who are so closely and directly affected by my act I ought reasonably to have them in my contemplation.

Topp v London Country Bus Ltd - damage to claiment from stolen bus was NOT foreseeable, as it has never happened before.
