What are drugs? Substances that alter the way the body works

What is a prescription? Drugs that are decided by doctor so that patients do not buy restricted drugs over the counter at a pharamacy.

What is physical addiction? It is when the urge to take a drug increases more and more. If they do not take one they can get withdrawal symptoms.

What is a drug tolerance? It is when the body gets used to a drug and we take more of them to get the same effect.

What is rehabilitation? When someone wants to stop their addiction they can get help and support.
