Carbohydrates: Polysaccharides are digested into disaccharides and then monosaccharaides. Amylase hydrolyses Starch to the disaccharide Maltose and Maltase digests Maltose to the monosaccharide Glucose. Sucrase digests Sucrose to Glucose and Fructose and Lactase digests Lactose to Glucose and Galactose
