Diet and Exercise

Proteins - build new tissues for growing and repair, made of amino acids, 

Carbohydrates- Create energy

Fats- store energy 

Water- used in all chemical reactions in the body

Fibre- used to prevent constipation, fruits and veg. 

Vitamins & Minerals-  healthy functioning of the body

Malnutrition - overweight or underweight 

Taking more energy in then you lose causes overweight

Using more energy than you take in causes under weight 

Metabolism- total number of chemical reactions in the body

Low cholesterol leads to block arteries causing heart attacks
